Yasmin is a chemical engineer, working in energy. She has worked on coal and gas fired power stations, in oil and gas, on home heating systems, and now in energy innovation. Having fallen into chemical engineering by accident, she’s passionate about promoting engineering stories and careers to the public and young people. As a writer, she’s written about engineering and energy for the BBC, the Huffington Post, and others. Yasmin will talk about the different things that contribute to climate change, like electricity generation, transport, and industry, and then some of the cool innovations to tackle them!
