Rachel Giles | River Plastic and Biodiversity

Rachel is an aquatic ecology and pollution researcher in the Rochman Lab. She is interested in how cities, and the pollution that they create, affect the wildlife that live in the streams and rivers. When she is not knee-deep in Toronto’s Humber river, you can find Rachel dancing, strolling through the Royal Ontario Museum, picking through trash with the U of T Trash Team, or cooking at home with her cat Taro.
