This month the theme is weather and Hilde and Sunniva will be joined by Sven Sundgaard who is a meteorologist with KARE 11 in Minnesota, an avid runner and world traveler. Join Sunniva Sorby and Hilde Strom live from a remote trappers cabin called ‘Bamsebu’, in Svalbard, located 78’ north and 140 km from the nearest neighbour. Sunniva and Hilde will spend 9 months overwintering in Svalbard, this is a historic expedition in that no women have over-wintered in Svalbard without men. Throughout their time there, they will be taking part in multiple citizen science experiments.
