Emilie is a marine biologist with the Department of Fisheries and Oceans, based in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Her background is in seafloor mapping and habitat modeling to support marine conservation. She currently leads a tagging and telemetry research program tracking the movements, behaviour, and survival of Atlantic cod, Greenland halibut, and Witch flounder.
