Elisabeth Galarneau | Mysteries of Air Pollution

Did you know that air pollutants can act like grasshoppers? Or that snow can clean the air? Join Elisabeth as she explains some of the mysteries of air pollution, and how scientists and technicians work to solve them. Elisabeth is a Research Scientist with the Air Quality Research Division of Environment and Climate Change Canada, and her work focuses on air pollutants that can cause cancer or other serious health effects. Her presentation will highlight the tools that scientists and technicians use to understand where air pollution comes from and what we can do to stop it.
