Danger in the City | Birds and Windows

This spring, billions of birds are passing through our cities on their way to their northern breeding areas. Unfortunately, many will never reach their destination. Millions of birds are killed or injured every year across Canada from colliding with windows as they are forced to navigate through unfamiliar urban environments during migration. Lisa Horn from FLAP Canada will share her personal journey of rescuing injured songbirds and lobbying for bird-friendly buildings on her university campus. Learn why birds hit windows, and what you can do to stop it.
