Natalie Lynn Lichtenbert | Whale Shark Conservationist

Natalie Lynn has a degree in Molecular Pathology and has recently received her Master's in Conservation Leadership/Zoology. Internationally, she serves as the Conservation Officer for Whale Shark Diaries based in La Paz, Mexico. On the local U.S. level, she is Chairman of the Hoffman Estates Sustainability Commission, Deputy Officer of the Illinois Monarch Project Community Engagement Committee and the Scientific Board Director for the Schaumburg Pollinator Initiative. She is an active volunteer with Spring Valley Nature Center and Sandbluff Bird Banding Station. She also leads international environmental expeditions such as in the Baja Peninsula and Kenya. Because climate change is one of the main factors in species and biodiversity loss, Natalie Lynn speaks at local and international events to educate people of all ages the importance of decreasing our carbon footprint and living a sustainable lifestyle. She lives with hope, tenacity and perseverance. Protecting the planet's species is her life's passion!
