Charlotte Hacker | Snow Leopard Research in China

Charlotte is a Fulbright U.S Student Program Researcher working on one of the world’s most incredible and elusive cats - the Snow Leopard! She splits her time between Beijing and remote field sites. Snow leopards are large wild cats living in mountainous areas. There are still many things we don't know about these animals, like how many are left in the wild or what they eat. Along with her research team, she will gather a lot of new information to help learn about snow leopards and how best to protect them. She'll be sharing her journey with students to help them learn more about China, its history, wildlife, culture and language.
